Join the Delaware Beekeepers Association

Open to anyone interested in learning the wonderful art and science of beekeeping

Benefits of Joining the Delaware Beekeepers Association Include:

— Subscription to the “Newsy Bee”, an informative publication of the Delaware Beekeepers Association. This newsletter announces events of interest to beekeepers, provides timely advice, and summarizes current research that beekeepers can use.

— Educational beekeeper meetings are held monthly in Dover, Georgetown, and Newark, where members share ideas, hear expert speakers, and learn new beekeeping skills. Several of our meetings feature presentations by our most experienced beekeepers, giving you valuable information that will improve your beekeeping skills.

— Admission to the Delaware Beekeepers Association’s Annual Meeting. This all day program features a variety of experts giving presentations on many different aspects of beekeeping.

— Invitation to our annual “Fall Open Hive” event, a great educational experience. This program includes lectures on topics such as beekeeping history, cooking with honey, honey extraction, etc. and is a good opportunity to observe a live bee hive.
